This session will help you learn how you can use digital tools to expand your professional learning through links with other educators. You will also learn how to organize and add new tools to your Professional Learning Network (PLN).

Introduction

Connecting with other educators helps us expand our expertise in all areas. In doing so, we discover information and ideas that may not be available to us otherwise. Sharing ideas globally allows us to experience other ideas, cultures, and lessons beyond our classroom. We can also discover lessons and tools to use with students that have proven successful for others. The solitary classroom is a thing of the past. Professional educators may reach beyond their school and district for ideas in management, lessons, tools, and inspiration. Sharing successes is as important as finding resources since many educators are also looking for new resources and insight!
