Introduction

The eMINTS Instructional Model (EIM) serves as the foundation for all professional development material. This model is based on strong historical research and conceptual theory. All quadrants of this model have been a part of your training in Year 1. You have had an opportunity to grow in practice and develop strategies based on the eMINTS Instructional Model. Reviewing those practices and sharing ideas with others will support your growth in Year 2.

Theory Behind Practice

All eMINTS materials are grounded in research-based best practices in K-12 education.

Classroom Visit w/out Students

Engage in a conversation with your instructional specialist about using reflection, goal setting, and celebrating successes with students. Discuss how these strategies might be used to support the learning and growth of your students.
